Welcome to Church!
We're so glad to see each and every one of you here this weekend. As we gather for this special worship service, we want to express our gratitude for your presence. It's a joy to worship alongside you and share in this journey of faith.
This weekend, our focus will take us to the Church’s first “sermon” from Acts 2:14-41. From Peter’s teaching we can learn how God’s Spirit works in us and how He compels us to respond when He moves in our lives.
After the service, stay a while, enjoy some coffee, take a few minutes to engage friends and neighbors in conversation, visit with our pastor, or spend some time in prayer. Our church is not just a place of worship but a community of support and love.
Thank you for being a part of this family, and may this weekend’s service be a source of inspiration, reflection, and connection. If you have any questions or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My office telephone is 410-639-2144.
Richest Blessings!

Closing Worship Benediction
Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there -
Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.
I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.
If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the end of the service.

Acts 4 - Your Turn
Acts 2:14-41
Peter's Transformation:
Great POWER—to go with great PURPOSE
Acts 2:17 NIV
“ ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
John 14:12 NIV
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Acts 2:32–33 NIV
God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
Great WISDOM—to go with his BOLDNESS
John 16:13 NIV
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
GOD is meaningless without Jesus.
Acts 2:21 NIV
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Acts 2:31 NIV
Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.
Acts 2:36 NIV
“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
Great FRUIT—follows his faithful OBEDIENCE
Acts 2:37 NIV
When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
God’s move… Jesus
John 3:16-17
GOD is meaningless without Jesus.
Acts 2:21 NIV
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Acts 2:31 NIV
Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.
Acts 2:36 NIV
“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”
Your Response… Devotion and Obedience
Devotion to Jesus comes from knowing Jesus as Christ
Obedience to Jesus comes from knowing Jesus as my Lord.
Acts 2:22–24 NIV
“Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
God has raised this Jesus to life, and … Exalted to the right hand of God
This is not about us… yet it is
Our turn... REPENTENCE
Acts 2:37–38 NIV
When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
