June 16th Worship Program

Welcome to Church!

We are glad to have you worship with us today. It's a true blessing to worship, pray, and serve with friends and neighbors.

Today, while we gather to celebrate Jesus and his love for us, we also take time to lift up our father’s. Whether our dads at home, our spiritual fathers, coaches who served as father figures, or other loved ones who took responsibility to show us the love and character of a father, today we remember and praise God. In our study of the book of Acts, we begin a short series of messages on handling conflict, something our dads were in position to teach us.

Gathering for worship services is an important part of our life as disciples of Jesus as well as a Global Methodist Church. We understand that God invites his people into three discipleship practices. First, to worship passionately, where worship is more than the songs we sing, it’s about the lives we live, for His glory. Second, God calls us to love extravagantly; to love like Jesus who modeled sacrificial love in his life and in his death. Third, God equips us to witness boldly; to tell others about what he has done and is doing in and through his people.  We believe living out these three are essential for us as His church here in Rock Hall.

Thank you for being a part of our church family today. My prayer is that our time together in worship would be a source of inspiration, reflection, and connection in your relationship with Jesus. If you have any questions or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My office telephone is 410-639-2144, or send me an email.

All for Him!

Benediction

Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there -

Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.

I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.

If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the end of the service.
