Welcome!
I’m glad you are able to join us this morning for worship. Today is a very special day. Not only are we outside for worship, but today we are gathering with our sister churches. We are three churches that share one mission, to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of Rock Hall and the world.
I also hope you notice today how different we are. Yet because of our relationship with Jesus, we have much more in common than what makes us different. Our gathering to worship and fellowship together is a testimony to our community of the power of Jesus to bring people together for a mission greater than anything we can imagine.
Everyone is welcome here because no one here is perfect, but together anything can happen.
We long to see our entire community transformed by the same power of God that is transforming us. This is why we share and show God’s love by serving our neighbors and telling the story of how God transformed our lives.
If you have any questions about our church or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My email is gary@yourrockhall.church and my office telephone is 410-639-2144.
Thank you again for joining us.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
Benediction
Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there - Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am. I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power. Amen.
If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the altar at the end of the service.
Message Notes:
Luke #32: Chasing Worms
Luke 12:13-24
GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS
The good news is: You are rich!
Ecclesiastes 5:19
The bad news is: You’re rich!
Luke 18:24–25
We don’t need more of what’s temporary, we need more of what’s eternal.
1 Timothy 6:17-19
God has blessed me with more than I need. I’m rich.
But I will not trust in my riches, but in Him who richly provides.
Because I have more, I will give more and do more.
Why does wealth seem like a moving target? Why do we always want just a little bit more?
Read Luke 12:16-21. What reasons would God have for caring what we do with our money?
How can we focus less on what we don’t have and more on what God has given us?
Think of a way to use the things God has given you to help someone in need this week, now, go make it happen!
This week’s YouVersion Bible Devotional:
Generosity is genius. In this five-day reading plan adapted from his book, The Genius of Generosity, Chip Ingram explores how we can become the brilliant people we were meant to be—those who understand and benefit from the genius of generosity. Examine God’s design for giving and how He intends to bless those who become living expressions of His generous heart.
