Updated: Jan 22, 2022

Message Text

They should have seen it coming!

Canadian Professor Marshall McLuhan coined the phrase the medium is the message". What he meant was that how the message is delivered to us has a great deal to do with how we understand the content of message. John the Baptist is a living illustration of this principal. Join us as we discover how his message, and his presence launched the greatest ministry of all time.

If you have any prayer requests or questions, please us the link in this worship program or the pew cards available in the seat backs in front of you.

This week's reading plan:

John the Baptist played an important role in the life of Jesus with the urgency of “God is about to move, so be ready!” and the greater baptism of Jesus in the Holy Spirit as the primary marker for God’s new covenant people. John knew his identity in Christ. Readers will discover how they can learn from John to be all that God created them to be.
