The churches of the Rock Hall Charge are committed to the health and well being of everyone in the Rock Hall community. In compliance with the CDC and the State of Maryland, the following guidelines will be in place moving forward for all of our worship services:
1. Masks are optional. We will still have PPE supplies and hand sanitizer stations in place. Non-vaccinated persons are encouraged but not mandated to wear a mask indoors. This is the responsibility of the person, not the Church. If someone wants to wear a mask or does not want to wear a mask during worship there will be no judgement or reservation from the Church.
2. Every pew is now open during worship, meeting, and small group gathering.
3. Hymns and Bibles are back in the sanctuary, however weekly worship programs will continue to be distributed digitally.
These guidelines will be discussed by our church leadership over the coming days and you might expect some adjustments. I simply wanted us to have some clarity following the statements by our Governor on Friday, understanding that failing to communicate changes could lead to confusion and carelessness. Be looking for other guideline announcements for other ministry areas of the Church.
As we transition out of the precautions put in place during the pandemic, we as a church will commit to remaining in ministry with those in need around us, we invite others to join what God is doing here in Rock Hall. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the leadership of our Church.
All for Jesus!
Pastor Gary
