Welcome to Church!
As we gather for worship this weekend, I want to make sure you know how grateful we are that you have joined us. It's a blessing to worship, pray, and serve alongside friends and neighbors.
Today we begin a slight detour in our study of the book of Acts. We are studying Stephen’s sermon from Acts 7 and taking a look back at the Old Testament character Moses to discover some very powerful Gospel lessons that we can apply to our lives today..
After the service, take a few minutes to engage friends and neighbors in conversation, or spend some time in prayer. We hope you find our church and church family is not just a place of worship but a community of support and love.
If you have attended church before, you know every church is unique. A few of the things we hope you will notice about us are first, the priority we give to the Bible, not just in worship, but in all things related to God and our relationship with HIm; also, we are committed to being a blessing, as we seek to represent Christ to our community; and finally we depend on the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us to live our daily lives. We believe these are essential to our calling to be His church here in Rock Hall.
Thank you for being a part of our family today. My prayer is that our time together in worship would be a source of inspiration, reflection, and connection in your relationship with Jesus. If you have any questions or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My office telephone is 410-639-2144, or send me an email.
Richest Blessings!

Benediction
Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there -
Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.
I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.
If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the end of the service.

Take it Home:
Read Deuteronomy 7:6-9. Considering God’s redemptive work to call, forgive, provide, and care for his people, why are the reasons for his faithfulness given in this passage so helpful to keep in mind?
Read James 5:7-11. What are some of the damaging effects that we experience when we are impatient and doubt God’s ultimate plans for our lives and this world?
Read John 14:1-3. How could a fixed confidence in Christ’s eternal plans positively change the way you are facing the challenges or disappointments that are in front of you this week?
Read 1 Peter 4:12-19. What experiences can you place into this biblical description? In what situations have you found comfort (and even joy!) amid misunderstanding and antagonism?
