Welcome!
I’m so glad you are able to join us for worship. Over the years I have found that worship is vital to my relationship with Jesus. When I neglect this time, sure I might get another hour of sleep or a couple of chores done, but my faith suffers. In my life, there is no lasting benefit to missing this time together.
Today we are going to see a story of a lady who made worship a priority and how it would lead to a blessing she had been waiting years for, waiting so long that she had probably given up on. But God was working. Maybe you are here today looking for something that’s been missing from your life for a long time. The same Jesus is available to us today. So, today may just be the day you’ve been waiting for.
If you didn’t know, this church is one of three in our community that share one mission, to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of Rock Hall and the world. Our gathering for worship is a testimony to our community of the power of Jesus to save, transform, and redeem.
Everyone is welcome here because no one here is perfect, but together anything can happen.
The same power that has transformed our lives is transforming our community as we live out our faith, sharing and showing God’s love, by serving our neighbors and telling the story of how His love transformed our lives.
If you have any questions about our church or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My email is gary@yourrockhall.church and my office telephone is 410-639-2144.
Thank you again for joining us.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
Benediction
Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there - Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am. I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power. Amen.
If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the altar at the end of the service.

We are part of a Conquering Kingdom!
I believe that one reason why the church of God at this present time has so little influence over the world is because the world has so much influence over the church.
Charles Spurgeon
Questions to consider:
Who needs the love of Jesus?
Are you living in a religious bubble of hypocrisy?
As a church, how can we better welcome people in need?
What marks your life - worldly or Godly influences?
This week’s YouVersion Bible Devotional:
Many churches today are like spiritual orphanages, filled with people who accepted the gospel but never grew in maturity because no one has discipled them. This 6-day devotional plan will help you break the cycle of spiritual abandonment by exploring Jesus' command to discipleship. May it reignite your passion for becoming a disciple-making disciple.
